Matt originally hails from the UK and first took to the stage in the early 1990s in the chorus line of Guys & Dolls at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London's West End. His theatre experience in Australia includes Cosi (Darlinghurst Theatre), Richard III (New Theatre), School for Scandal (Epicentre Theatre Company), Far Away (Sydney Theatre Company) Dark Matter (Factory Space Theatre), and MacBeth (ACTT).

Matt has graduated from the Actors College Of Theatre & TV after three-years full-time study with an Advanced Diploma Of Arts In Stage & Screen Acting.
