ONE OF THOSE DAYS
Matt has appeared as a vicarin a short film called 'One Of Those Days' (directed by BAFTA winner and Australian director, Hattie Dalton).  Derek Jacobi also appears in the same film which the producers are hoping will be another BAFTA winner this year - stay tuned!

NOTTINGHAM
Matt was recently cast as a swordsman in the new Ridley Scott movie 'Nottingham' with Russell Crowe and Sienna Miller.  The film was due to start shooting in August 2008 but was then postponed until the European summer of 2009 - watch this space!

MATT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED INTO RADA
Matt has been accepted into the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London onto their Post-graduate Acting Shakespeare course. The course runs for two-months in June/July 2008.

RADA is one of the most prestigious drama schools in the world and is where John Gielgud, Kenneth Branagh and Anthony Hopkins all studied.

ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA
Matt has been cast in lead male role (Mark Antony) in Antony & Cleopatra at the Genesian Theatre Company in March/April 2008.

NATIONAL ACTORS INTENSIVE WEEK
Matt has just completed the National Actors Intensive week through TAFTA Melbourne with a range of casting directors and producers including Cameron Welsh (Home & Away), Jan Russ (Neighbours), Bill Hughes (All Saints), Tom McSweeney (Maura Fay QLD), Faith Martin, Greg Apps, Jodie Brearley and Alison Telford.

THE TOMB
Matt has been cast as a German soldier in a trailer for a feature film called 'The Tomb'.  The role is in German but will be subtitled (knew those German lessons would pay off !)  The teaser is being shot over four days down a mine in a country town an hour the other side of Bathurst.  The director (Jon Dixon) is visiting L.A. this month to pitch the idea to studio executives and will be returning with appointments to show them the finished trailer.  Please check out the website and video diaries to keep up-to-date on the progress of this exciting project.
